Statement:

In the same way that a schoolchild way develop a learning block, ever since my college days I have suffered from fear of printmaking. This fear ran so deeply that as an adult artist I have had to be cajoled and dragged into successive woodcutting and etching projects. After ignoring several nice letters from The Philadelphia Print Club for several months, I was gently but firmly led by Anne Shuster Hunter and Hester Stinnet through the final hurdle --- Woodcutting and the dreaded lithography.
